Having worked in the investment industry for 9yrs, I was an advocate of investing in shares, but we wanted to know more about property investing before we decided how to invest our money and whether or not we could actually afford to do so.

Brian explained to us how investing in a new property would give us maximum growth and tax advantage, and how we could afford to do it. He did this in a very simple and easy to understand way.

We then met Athena to discuss our finance options and go for a look at the properties on offer. She drove us to the other side of town and showed us the various properties. Then she gave us all our borrowing options and advice on all the lenders, rates and fees etc. We had many questions understanding our options and Athena was always very patient and answered all our questions promptly and professionally.

After the contracts were signed, we basically had to do nothing, but pay the progress payments to the builder and Athena gave us a few updates along the way. From our view point the building process was trouble free, however, I have no doubt, Brian and Athena were involved behind the scenes.

Hand-Over was earlier than scheduled and this put some pressure on Lin Andrews Real Estate, however, a tenant was found within 2 weeks and we received 95% of our Rent Guarantee costs back.

Our 1st perceptions of Brian and Athena were "typical salespeople", however, after dealing with them and getting to know them, we now realise they are just extremely passionate and enthusiastic about what they do, sincerely want to provide exceptional service and will stand-by everything they say.

We will most definitely be dealing with them again for our next property purchase, and highly recommend them to anyone who is interested in investing in property.

Brian and Athena took all the hard work and tedious detail away from us, and made our property purchase 'easy'.

 Dear Brian,

We are simply over the moon with how the whole investing process has come together for our 1st Investment Property, that we know that we have made the right decision and couldn't wait to purchase Investment Property No. 2. It just seems like it was yesterday that we were signing the builder's contracts. It felt like we literally blinked our eyes and the entire investment process was completed again. I believe that the construction was fully completed and the tenants were ready to move in, inside approximately 14 weeks. Again the entire investment product which has been undertaken has been done so with minimum fuss from our involvement, Divine Homes are simply so easy to work with.

It seems funny that we have a friend of ours who has undertaken a similar process as ourselves and started the same time, through another builder. They have just had their slab poured and are now wondering, why they didn't go through this process. I believe that they are having all sorts of delays with their own builder and are getting totally frustrated with all the time delays, additional costs and broken promises.

To the financiers, thanks again for such a streamlined approach, it has just made the process so much easier. We have had our finances reset so that it works for us instead of working for the banks. You simply make the system work so much easier, thanks for all your hard work.

Jayne and I thought we would never be able to afford an investment property, but through a phone call to Property Asset Planning, Brian showed us the way to build a new property, tenants to pay part mortgage, plus negative gearing and claiming a tax deduction reducing my tax.

We had been thinking about how to ensure a more financially independent path to retirement than that which we were currently on, like a lot of people we had considered investment properties but we just never seemed to go past the point of talking about it.
