*Applicants for HomeBuilder must meet the following two income caps to qualify for the scheme.
- Meet the following income tests for the full financial year of either 2018-19 or 2019-20:
- Individual applicant: taxable income of less than $125,000; or
- Couples: combined taxable income of less than $200,000.,
- You need to be building a new home worth less than $750,000,
- To qualify for the HomeBuilder Grant, building your home must commence no later than 6 months after signing the building contract,
- You must enter into a contract to build between 4 June 2020 and 31 March 2021 (inclusive);
- Applications must be submitted on or before 14 April 2021,
- You must be aged 18 years or older, an Australian citizen and be an individual, not a company or trust.

For a limited time, the Federal Government’s HomeBuilder program will deliver $15,000 grants to eligible owner-occupiers – including first home buyers who will get the payment to build a new home.
